Windshield Squirters not working

Well since the snow has been melting, and making roads a mess (my red p-car is now "alpine white" ), i've been trying to use my squirters but not getting anything. I was working under the hood today (putting my k+n cone filter in, will have pics up soon), and I had a spare battery lying around. I put power to the squirter and it sprays fine, but when I pull the wiper arm forward in the car, the wipers move but nothing comes out.

Is there some kind of relay that controls the pump separatley? I cleaned the connections on the pump and still nothing.

Also, concerning the alternator relocation kit. Does it put the alternator all the way down where the a/c compressor sits? Does anyone have this on a road car, because I can see quite a lot of road grime and/or water getting into the alternator from sitting that low...if you do, have you had any problems with it? Im looking to clean out my engine bay more.

Take a voltage reading at the motor. Attach up the meter with clip leads, face the readout toward the windshield, turn on the ignition and try the lever. If no voltage, the switch may be bad. If there is voltage, there still may be a switch problem as they do develop internal resistance. Mine did. I put a relay in line with the switch and fused the power directly to the battery. End of problem.

check for a bend in the hose, mine always gets a pinch in it up near the hood-windsheild area

figured it out...I blew some compressed air out the nozzles..they were hardcore clogged. I had pulled the hoses off of the nozzles to see what would happened and they pumped fine, but there was also a small kink up behind the hood skeleton. Coupled with some new wipers and the windshield is squeaky clean
