It's a truly awesome machine - there's a nice (although admittedly self-promoting and cocky) write-up of it on Power Haus' website (click on the "HOT" graphic). The ONLY thing I don't like about that car is those bling-bling chrome wheels. I hate 'em. Other than that, the thing is everything I'd ever want in a 951. Gorgeous work.

Here is where the car originally came from.

http://www.powerhaus.com/raffle/about.htm

Ran across it the other day. The owner most likely won it from the raffle. I saw it for sale on a performance website for 80,000! Guess he is trying e-bay now. Awesome machine.

As a matter a fact, one of its pictures is my background

The owner E-baying the car is the original owner. He intially donated the car to be raffled for charity--(I bought a ticket)--then they didn't sell enough to even cover the advertising expenses, so the raffle was cancelled and everyone had their money refunded.

Good info Eric, I wondered who had won this car... I would have bought a ticket! Didn't find it until recently though.

For the kind of money thats being asked I would of hoped for more suspension and brake work. Otherwise I would of done it the same way if I had money to blow.

Supposedly 200K $$$ in that car. He wants 60K..........

I have seen guys easily spend that amount on track cars. So if you want a car thats almost ready out of the box. That would be the way to go.

Is it worth it........... it may be to someone. Should be interesting.

I'd get that car if:

1) I had the money.
2) I could justify spending said money to my wife.

Chrome? Yuk. Belongs on a 1970s Camaro. The Kinesis supercups however would look AWESOME!

They aren't chrome. If you read carefully it says polished aluminum. MUCH harder to keep clean and shiney compared to ****ty chrome.
