What's the rear hatch glass worth?
I am thinking about converting my rear hatch from Lexan to glass. Anyone know what the glass is worth? I think I'm getting a really good price, but I'm just curious...

Is there any reason you're going away from lexan?

It's yellowing and it's getting pretty hard to see out of...also, it's cracking near the top of the hatch. I'm finally going to put a stereo in (a small one) and it will sound like crap with the lexan.

try and find a racer, I would think the lexan would be lighter so they might trade straight up for your lexan window.

Hmm, I'm hoping to sell the rear window off my 951 in that price range. I found a really nice tinted one, and decided to just swap it for mine. Doesn't leak or rattle at all

What Dantilla said, if they are mostly scratch free, have the third light and it hasn't come unglued across the top. When it comes unglued across the top it aint worth a chit. Oh, then there is the part about the two little defrost clips being intact and the defrost actually works.

I have one on ebay staring at $100 no third light and untested defrost, but it looks to be in good shape.

Heh...I don't have the third brake light anymore, it did come unglued, and the defrost isn't hooked up anymore (but since I don't drive it in the winter anyway..) I forgot about those reasons for switching back to glass lol.

My defrost stopped working last year... that would suck if I drove it on a cold night!
