Unhappy Ebay Problems Need a Favor!

So, several months ago I bought a transaxle for my 944 on ebay seen here : http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33733&item=7923215873&rd=1

I payed for the item Sept 28, 2004 in full, plus 125 for shipping. Mike from Autobahn Northwest as given many lame excuses from family emergencies, not having enough money to send it(funny how I payed that in advance?), too busy, etc, etc. Ebay and paypal will do nothing for me aswell which is just great. So I am asking for any help that you guys can provide. I am willing to offer a $100 reward to anybody that can assist in geting my transmission to me.

Thanks
Kent Staples

I live in Washington and I'm heading to Bellingham in about a week. Do you want me to stop and pick it up from this guy?

Take a can of gasoline with you. You might have to smoke him out of his house.

This isn't the same guy that sold the 944 in Colorado Springs and never delivered?

I have dealt with this guy in the past. He won't leave feedback until you do, and if you leave negative feedback, he will too.

My advice is to wait until day 89 1/2 to leave feedback.

Seems to me, a good seller should leave feedback as soon as you pay up, and the item is shipped.

People like that ought to be forced to deal only with other crooks, eventually they'll get fed up and better the gene pool by killing each other.

Kent,
Mike has suffered some family emergencies lately. However, this should not prevent you from receiving your item. I have met this guy in person before, he is not a bad guy, just not an organized guy. I've had several dealings with him as well, some ok, some not so ok.
I will try to encourage him to come through for you....

Thanks for the help ray

As far as the emergencies he has had, I understand that that stuff happens, but it is a poor practice to spend money people pay you for shipping on others things

One of these days he's going to stiff a 911 owner and there will be 35 dentists with pitchforks surrounding his house.

I tried to call Mike several times today. Just give me the word and a couple of my friends and myself will gladly pay him a visit. While we're there is there anything anyone else wants. I'm headed up there middle of next week.

You should pop over to www.924board.org and make that offer. I bet there'd be LOTS of takers there. He's screwed quite a few people over there, too.

I don't know this guy and have only emailed him a couple months ago so I don't want to throw him under the bus. However avoiding people won't make them go away and a little communication could go a long way. Hopefully he can get his life back together after this emergency and make good on some of his deals.

He got me too! I ordered a door from him in Oct.. been getting the same excusses and no results. All I want is my money back
now. I doubt he even has the door. If you pay him a visit tell
him to get me my cash. I'm still trying to contact him but no luck.

Yeah, I bought some stuff from Him (Mike Swinford) on e-bay and still have not recieved anything - and of coarse e-bay told me they won't do anything - yet ebay will let him keep selling. Go figure?

I tried for over a month and no responses back by e-mail or phone. So I asked him a question on one of his "new" ebay auctions under a friends e-bay account and he e-mailed right back - BUSTED'EM - GOT 'EM. He promised to send my parts last week but I have yet to see anything. Try filing a "non performing Seller" with e-bay, if he gets 3 they will close his account. Here is his # 360-312-1492 - he never called me back, but it worth a try!

E-bay buyers beware of the user "karkannibal"

Here's his info - hope this helps!

Hmm, I'm coming over to the States in April. Anyone want to arrange a little visit to his fella's house? Just us and a couple of bits of two by four should do the job.
