This may sound like a dumb question but on the 944, is the servicing fitting next to the sight glass the low side? If so, where is the high side fitting located?

No the fitting next to the sight glass is the HIGH side. The LOW side is on the compressor. Is't a b-tch to get to unless you have a 90 degree fitting
