is it me...
or do the 84 944's not rev high (in automatic). Even when i put the pedal all the way down to the floor, the engine only goes to a max of 3k rpms. However, in other automatics i drive, the automatic transmission shifts near redline if floored. Is something wrong with my cpu unit? or does porsche engineer them this way?

the grand prix I drive will climb until the pedal is lifted slightly.. then it will shift...

in D the transmission will over-ride you
You probably need to adjust your kick down cable slightly. AFJuvat
