Angry I need to know what this part is

I'm having a problem and I need to know what excactly is the name of this part. The part was removed off of an 87 944s 16v car. Is this a engine wiring harness?

Im not sure, I would think if it was a engine harness it would have a very large plug after the firewall boot the plugs into the DME and I dont see that, But the other funny thing is I think I see a speed sensor plug, Guess we will just have to wait and see, at least I bumped the message

my car is a 951 but that looks to me like the harness that comes out under the fuse box. the two plugs should plug into the bottom of the fuse box. the engine harness is on the other side of the firewall.

Sorry, not the engine wiring harness... My guess is that it is part of the harness going to the front of the car, around the headlights and radiator fans.

Refund his money (including the shipping) and pay for the shipping back. Don't sell parts when you don't know exactly what they are. Had you listed this correctly the buyer would have no recourse. Learn your lesson.

Well, it sure ain't no "engine wiring harness". To bad the buyer didn't know the difference either! I agree with SoCal. Ya might just call it "live and learn", or from the buyers standpoint........false advertising/misrepresentation. Do the right thing, even if it hurts a little. It looks like a front chassis harness to me.

That is the acc. harness. It has the plugs for the cooling fans. That is the harness that comes out on the drivers side, under the the fuse box. IT IS NOT the dme harness. The leg on the bottom of the pic runs on the drivers side frame rail. If you need any help with other 16V parts let me know. I just recently parted 2 wrecks out, and installed a 16v engine.
