General fuel/brake hose ?

Does anyone know if fuel hose(which you can buy per foot at the bigbox Auto stores) is resilient to brake fluid? I am not worried about the fittings or the pressure at this point, but around here there aren't any places that sell brake hose by the foot, only by the application. Will fuel hose stand up to the brake fluid without it eating the hose?
