Angry flooding, no start

Hi I just got done installing a new head gasket on my 86 944 turbo, the car ran fine before but now It doesn't want to start, I got it started twice and both times it was running very poor and puking huge clouds of black smoke out the back , if i get the rpms up to around 4000rpms it seems to run ok just at that speed only but still does smoke a bit and if I go any higher it runs bad again and loses power.
at the moment the car will not start, spark is good, did a compression test and got 130,130,110,120, which I think is basically ok?
I can crank it and crank it and it will not start but then if I unplug all the injectors and crank it after trying to crank it with the injectors plugged in it will fire up for a second till it burns out the gas in the cylinders and then dies again.
I even tried disconnecting the AFM from the intake boot so that it would see no vacuume and give max lean setting, but it still floods out during startup.
I disconnected the throttle position sensor and the O2 sensor and still flooding?!?! even unplugged the AFM sensor wires with no change .....the only thing I can think of at this point is that there is something wrong with the DME ....I have some weltmiester performance chips in it by the way.
oh also I pulled off the injector rail while someone turned the key and the injectors fire one at a time so they're not like stuck open or anything, but they just injecting way too much fuel
also there is some sensor or something that goes into the top of the turbocharger....or maybe it goes into the waterpipe attached to the turbo or something?
it has one wire connected to it and I broke the sensor or whatever this is off while doing the head gasket, I've been trying to find a diagram that will tell me that this part is, does anyone have an idea?

Check the fuel pressure, it probably needs a new fuel pressure regulator and damper. If you disconnect one injector it may start.

fuel pressure is a possability thanks .... but if I disconnect one injector then I'll have 3 rich cylinders and one cylinder with no fuel, it still won't start heh, thanks though

the 944 hasone injector for each cylinder (direct port injestion) so if I disconnect one injector the other 3 will still be just as rich as with 4 injectors, and the cylinder that has no injector will also ot fire because it has no fuel
i did find a part number on this thing I broke btw ...I'm pretty sure it's a water temperature sensor, the # is 951 606 106 00 and it's made by VDO all the water temp sensors I see have 2 wites but this one just has a single round prong sticking up through the middle
I wonder if a little sensor like this could be causing all my problems??

No one ever got fired for listening to this guy.

Sounds like you are pulling alot of plugs and hoses in the hopes that something may work. Anways... 951 606 106 00 is a temperature switch. Not too familiar with turbos, but don't see why that would lead to a no-start condition.

This might help tho: Clarks Garage - Rough Running/No Start Issues

The sensor it's infront on the head in the larger water passage that measures the engine coolant temperature.. There is another one that rides in the side of the head/block that has a one wire post with a spade connector that slips over it like C clip kinda? I think this is the cold start valve controll sensor? TEST them for resistance changes at different temperatures, use a hair dryer or pour hot water over them and measure it.. test the wires too. hook up the vu meter between them on the dme and the end connector and wiggle the harness to see if it cuts out or something... later.

Black smoke...rich as a &!+(#...takes off above 4000RPM...AFM barn door stuck wide open...possibly caused by dropping it during dissasembly...ask me how I know.

I found the problem! (am prepared to be laughed at) my DME temp sensor wire was unplugged!, plugged it in and it started right up....still runs slightly rich...but it was doing that before, I think I have a couple minor vacuume leaks that make it rich when the turbo kicks in thanks guys ttyl
