Check this out. ( I think I have one of the most atractive 944's!)
Bright yellow most defiantely atracts insects. Its not uncommon on a wet morning for me to find all sorts of bugs on my car, this time, wasps where fairly dominant. Like 5 or 6 of them.
        My closest pictures are from just a couple inches, very freaky feeling being that close to a live and crawling wasp trying to get their pictures. I felt like jumping ay time my body tingled. There is one more wasp I didn't get a good photo of, didn't get my focus right.(front right headlight area).

Someone told me that they can see the corbon monoxide you exhale. That is how they zero in on you. I do not know if this is true or not and not about to experiment. I hate all bees. I was told to hold my breath and they will not be able to find me. Again I am not about to try it at home.

Jim Cesiro, it's actually the carbon dioxide, and it's more of a smelling sense than seeing
 That is why bees like fire.

check your car for a hive.....
my friend has a hive in the drivers side mirror.. it's not uncommon for bees / wasps to nest in a car..

I've heard that some insects identify their mates by color.
Just think of what you'd see if you had a tan car, put a blond wig on it, and parked it on a beach! --- Bryan! Haven't seen you in OT in a while...

CO they stay away from, no insect will dare go near a recently parked car.
