I went to drive to work last night and discovered the inside of my windows were a bit wet. I started feeling stuff and the back seat was soaked, the floor on the drivers side was wet from the back seat to the pedals. Did more checking this morning, the whole back capet under the hatch was dripping wet and the wells behind the rear wheels had about 1/2 gallon of water in each

Well, rear wheel wells - would likely be sunroof drains I think. Seats, either rear hatch, or sunroof.

well if the car is parked rear up, could be the sunroof or doors..
if the car is parked, it could be the antenna area... or the opposite cubby to where the battery would be on the drivers side (above the clutch master)..... I'm betting sunroof drains for your rear tubs - do you have the hoses coming from the draines pressed through the holes in the bottom of the rear cubbys?

Sounds like a combination of ......plugged up sunroof drains, leaky hatch to frame sealant, or hatch seals themselfs, or drain from inside of fuel door is broken and leaking into the cubbies. or maybe your girlfriend/wife is going out there when your not looking and taking the garden hose to the inside of your car.
![]() Also clean out the rear window hatch drains real good, the ones on either side between the glass and spoiler so water can easily run down between them, down the back of the car so it won't be so apt to lake up and leak back into the loose hatch to frame. Silicone sealant when ya can do it, will be a temp. help for this. Use that garden hose on your car, drench it down, and you'll probably see where all or most of it is coming in at.

Burn the fire.

It sounds to me like your aquarium has a leak, there should have been a couple hundred gallons in there

Problem solved!! I went and got some second or third hand scuba gear now I can drive under water. But officer, if I didn't go 120mph, I wound run out of air and drown before I get home.
I put the back seat down and looked around while it was raining, looks like the metal thing around the rear glass is letting water in. In several places. I remeber some one somewhere did a write up about fixing this. Weee

It is possible that the leaks are from more than one source but we will need a little more information. Did you happen to take the cute blonde from work to the company Christmas party? Do your walls in your house have "You Bastard" spray painted on them? Did the new paint buffer you recieved for Christmas have sandpaper attached to the bottom instead of a polishing cloth? Any of these symptoms may mean you need to check out Granite's theory. You may want to check with him to see if he has a post out there on how to fix this problem. I checked the manuals and I can't find anything.
