How to remove accelerator pedal?

Any of you Pelicans know how to remove the accelerator pedal so I can remove the carpet? Not that I don't know how to do it myself I just thought I'd see if anyone else out there knew as much as I do...

You say first, then I'll tell you if you are right.

Looks to me like everything is held together by spring #18....

SoCal Driver 01-10-2006 03:19 PM

Ya! Chure Ting!

Remove keeper #10. Twist pedal off of rod. Pull pedal back and take off the two nuts at the bottom.

Flormat 01-10-2006 03:36 PM

Yeah, I tried using those resources but unsuccesfully. I was trying to access the nuts at the bottom. But now that you point out 10 it makes sense to me now.
Thanks SoCal!

Holy crap Hugh. All that for a Porsche accelerator pedal !!!

Of course - I did not see the diagram, but I guess a picture is worth (at least in this case) 43 words and a whole bunch of numbers !!)

LOL

The retards at Porsche thought they could lock the PDF file so no one could capture the text. Had to crack it so I could cut and paste.

patrat 01-10-2006 09:28 PM

really? I have never had trouble with the PDF text.

SoCal Driver 01-10-2006 09:29 PM

Which reader version are you using?

AA_Ezra 01-10-2006 10:35 PM
