How is the Steering Column or spindle grounded? EARLY 944
Trying to diagnose a gremlin horn issue, I notice that when the I attach my momo wheel to my steering column, with the wire supplied with it connected to the horn button and grounded to the hub, the horn will not work, however, with the steering wheel out, if I touch the contacts on surface of the stalk with this wire from the hub, the horn will sound, but not when I touch the steering column itself?
Is there a corroded ground somewhere that I'm missing?

The button is isolated. Look at the back of the momo horn button. The wire coming from the column attaches to that. The wire attached to the momo button (that came with it) should be grounded to the hub. There should be a ring that gets sandwiched between the wheel and the hub, mine was missing (wheel was used) so I made a ring connector and sandwiched it as described. Mine is actually sandwiched between the main hub and the 1" spacer.

Thanks VaSteve,
Had same issue on my list to solve. Did Notice there was also a short Ground (Green) wire from base of steering Rack to Cross Member.
