Chromed wheels

I was in Monterey Calif over the weekend and saw a 944 at a gas station the same color as mine but with chromed Phone dials wheels which really brought his car out, boy it was sweet. Now I want to get my 15' phone dials chromed since i gotta little tax refund money to play with. Then would need some chrome wheel caps too. Any of my So Cal P-Car owners know of any chrome plating places that do good and inexpensive work in chroming wheels in L.A. or O.C.

Polishing can get you the same results with less weight. I think that what most people do.

What the f***k is that suppose to mean "all the messicans running around"? We're the only ones that know how to do this crap or what? That was an unnecessary and very stupid comment.

I'd reconsider chroming. It doesn't last long and is high maintenance. Polish or powdercoat silver.

Wow, all the hate for mexicans in this thread......
Anyhoo, there was a bulletin about chroming the wheels, and it possibly making them brittle, and otherwise unsafe. I'd stick with polishing
