alarm black box location

Need to bypass my alarm box. When I installed a new wiring harness I removed the alarm horn and now the starter and fuel pump are dead. Shouldnt it be on the passenger side fire wall under the carpet? When I lift up the carpet all I see is an aftermarket Amp. I dont want to dig too deep until someone confirms that I'm headed in the right direction. Also a few weeks ago someone posted how to bypass (hot wire) the alarm box. Anyone still have that info? Thanks for the help ! Larry

Herdman,
This is the real larry (a few weeks ago). livewirevoodoo is the one who help me out. His link to the Bypass was very helpful. Anyway..... Unscrew the wooden plywood that cover the DME on the passenger side floor board. The alarm module is mounted to the back/right of the DME. It's about larger than a pack of cigerettes. Just follow the directions above with the bypass and it should solve the no start problem....Larry

Assuming it's 85.5+, it's behind the DME box in the pass. side footwell. If it's an early car, it's under the dash.

Nynor, I'm sure the local porsche club will be out there in force. When Larry H Miller had the open house at the Salt Palace for the new race track the club was there with a bunch of show cars and race cars. There was everything from a 356 race car, 944's , a 924s race car ect, ect. I'll be joining to take advantage of open track days. Next week on my day off I,ll fix my car . Thanks for all the info. It should help get it back on the road. Larry
