83 Bumper Help

My 83 944 had the bumper tapped by someone in the parking lot, and now half the bumper is indented. If you look in the picture, one bumper mount is shorter than the other. Can this be pulled out, or does it need to be replaced?

thanks

it *can* be pulled out, but it'll never be the same strength that it once was... if you get hit by the same force next time, there's a chance it could do even more damage than just the bumper shock.

you will get people here telling you that it can be done... but the real true advice would be to tell you to buy a new one.
