I found this on ebay for $300. part no 9268 works for the DME LH-EZK

Any idea what this actually offers as far as diagnosis of problems or general information about how the car is performing?

I think it gives you the error codes, looked like it had the book of codes as well. I'm guessing a primitive OBD system, maybe someone has experience with it and can give more info.

I looked this up and it's for an 88 or above S, S2 or I think a turbo but the manual wasn't clear. It's an early ODB reader and it also performs some ignition and fuel tests. It also works on the 928.
