Next trip to Edmonton I would like a ride in that badass. :D
|
Alex, good to hear that your car is coming back together. Maybe I'll come and visit you this summer.
|
Yep, Alex's reincarnation car will be quite impressive once put together. We'll have some Caymans to terrorize this summer :D. I'm sure Alex will be checking and rechecking those fuel rail bolts like a bad case of OCD.
The megasquirt really is a cool setup, seems fairly straightforward as far as tuning it and when the router board gets developped it will be able to handle our stock speed and reference sensors. Until then though we are stuck using the 36-1 trigger wheel. The GPIO board is very close to completion and will add some more functionality to an already neat system. If everyone can get their 944s running at the same time, we should have a western canadian get together... might I suggest Edmonton :) Justin |
So the sky isn't the limit after all...
Very impressive! |
is it just me or have there been a wave of people overhauling their cars lately?
i realize i've only been around a year but it just seems that way... super chargers.. and makeovers like this one... hopefully these cars are still around another 20+ years from now! with the work some, like this example, are putting into it, i dont doubt they will.. |
