Any use the dash covers?

Hey guys,
My search has found a new love...
85.5 944 na,
5spd 120k.

Its got my new fav color, not sure what the Porsche name is yet? Its a darker silver metalic type that I fell for.

Anyway, it does have a dash that isn't as good as my other 944's have been.
It sports several dash cracks. I have heard of the dash covers & looked online on this site but they didn't have any pics of them.

Anyone?
Any thoughts on this subject is great &
happy motoring all!

Dash covers are relatively cheap (less than $100) and definitely hide the unsightly dash cracks. If done well (the one thing the PO did right with my car) I couldn't even tell that there was a cover up there.

Hi Dougster
I think I've got the only 944 in Oz without a cracked dash! The dash covers are fairly expensive here, not for a Ford or Chev, but if its a Porsche, its $$$$$. I went to a local vehicle upholsterer and bought a strip of felt type stuff for $5. Layed it on the dash and marked it with chalk, cut it out, stuck it on with little velcro "dots", looks great, so everyone tells me, and now any spare time is spent making them for friends (cost of a beer!). Just a tip, if you do it, cut it oversize first then trim to suit, and, get some VERY sharp scissors. Regards
