quick gauge question
hey everyone, just wondering do the oil pressure and clock light up? i cant remember when i had it all apart.
Thanks |
I don't have an early 944 but I would have to think they would light up especially the oil gage. How could you drive at night and see your oil pressure. Porsche wouldn't do that. Would they?

Burned out bulbs. Happens after twenty years.

they do light up, and they both use very small bulbs that, look kind of like christmas lights. I just finished replacing my oil pressure light. sometimes its just the contacts get dirty, but while you are in there looking, you may as well replace them. Im thinking of going in and putting in LED's instead for a bit of added brightness. but thats after i replace the water pump
