Different VINs?
Well I had the insurance guy come out and look at my car today and they're probably not going to cover it cause there wasn't any "flame" damage only melted wiring but he did point something out. The VIN on the pillar and the one in the engine bas is different. What's the deal?

If ZZZ is the only difference and it's the one in the engine compartment, it's the norm for US cars.

If the difference is only the 4th-6th spot (WP0AA0 vs WP0ZZZ), it's nothing to worry about -- fairly frequent. If the last few digits are different, then someone messed with it at one point.

It's that ZZ thing. I know the last 6 numbers or whatever it is are the same so I thought it was on purpose but I thought I would check. Thanks.
