air-condx
bear with me guys. coming from a country much cooler than this, i have had no experience with air condx systems. so, after 5 years, i am noticing that the vent temp is not so great, as before.
i can obtain a kit locally that includes 2 cans of duracool {i have r12 in the system}, a gauge kit, and fittings. my question is are the fittings standard, as i assume this kit is for north american cars. do i have to get an adapter, to fit the porsche system?? sorry, i'm clueless on this one. any help/info ! bob.

All r-12 freon systems have the same fittings and all r-134 systems will have different QD type fittings.

i guess as it is made for a "top-up" for a car that has r12 then it should be good. many thanks for info/reply.

One more thing, whether or not Duracool is compatible with R-12. I don't know that one. I would make sure if you haven't already.

I still have a few cans of R12 left if anybody thought they needed some. It can not be shipped to Canada however.

Around here auto value sells duracool. I use it in my 951, it works very well.
Don't buy the kit. Buy a low side fitting, 2 cans, and then go to NAPA or somewhere else, and buy a R134A charging hose with a pressure gauge.
