intercooler parts numbers
I am looking at an intercooler supposedly from a 944 turbo, although it doesn't really look like any 944 turbo intercoolers I've seen. Seller claims the numbers on the unit are 37176205 034145 805 A ... strange that there is no "944" or "951" in the part number...
Also, is there a website out there that would have a comprehensive list of parts numbers?

here's a pic of the unit in question. I probably won't buy it because I would like to upgrade (and it looks a little beat up anyhow), but the price is low enough for me to at least think about it:

You're right, those numbers do not sound like 944 turbo intercooler numbers.

Thanks for the quick response.
I wasn't thrilled about the item's condition, but the auction was going for about $30, so if it turned out to be less-than-adequate I wouldn't have been out too much. I think I will go aftermarket anyhow, assuming I can find one with small enough dimensions. Thanks again.
