Removing Alternator HELP

Im having one heck of a time with the bottom bolt of the 944 alternator any tips or help would be nice thanks.

Which year? The later alternators have a blind nut in the ear on the alternator. The early have a through bolt and nut. Have to get a box end on the nut.

Its an 84 I got the top bolt the bottom one is the pain.

I cannot find the right size wrench for this thing its neither a 13mm or a 14mm

Could be that someone replaced it with a non-metric.

Yea i got a '84 and it is a 13mm. Just get a big breaker and pull hard!?!

like most items that need to be unbolted on these cars, you need hands the size of a dwarfs ! its tricky, but using an offset wrench, and even removing the plastic valve cap from the a/c, to get the last bit of clearance to access the nut will help.
lately, having probs with my alternator, i have taken it off a couple times this week, and its a pain. no skin left on knuckles again !!
