After Market Rims

Hello, I have a '86 944na on 15' Fuchs. I really really want to go with an upsize aftermarket rim. I see rims that Im in love with. These are the offsets. Can you please tell me if any of these would work? Even IF I need spacers? I would really like to make one of these work!

1. offset 45 Front
offset ET 62 Rear

2. offset 58 Front
offset 52 Rear

3. offset 45 Front
offset 25 Rear

What year car are you planning on putting these on? The offset changes with the later cars. Are U planning on going with a larger diameter rim than the stock size? If so, once you've selected the wheel, go to Tire Rack and look through their data section to find tires that will fit the proper diameter and tread width. They ship to a local tire shop so all you have to do is call them and bring the wheels for installation. I put 17" Cayman wheels on my '87 and the process was a no-brainer. Also, if you've got a later car, you might have to get a 1/4" spacer on the front spindle because the shoulder is rounded and the wheel won't seat properly on the hub.

Some people try to turn back their "odometers." Not me. I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.

It is impossible to say if the sets of wheels in question will fit your car without knowing the widths. That said you would need spacers with each set of wheels to make them work on your car, the third set of wheels would likely only need them at the front, but the rest would need spacers front and rear.

Your best source of info on wheels for your Porsche is Wheelenhancement.com. Give them a call. . .but don't ask about "rims."

+1 I bought my wheels from them: 17s on my 83. They were very helpful. They offer wheel and tire combos too. I elected to buy wheels and got tires from the Tirereack.
