WTF...Woodruff key...crank

Is there a place that also sells the woodruff key for the crank/oil pump. Drive gear is available but what about the key?

tia!

(Part number is 900.117.036.00) Pelican has it listed as a special order part so no price is available. EBS racing has them in stock for about $1.50.

for *****s and giggles, i had some fun...

what? I'm bored...

1 million dollars in american pennies...

weight of pre 1982 pennies - 3.1g
post 1982 weight of a penny - 2.5g

lets assume a load of half and half..

50 million pre 1982 pennies = 155 million grams
50 million post 1982 pennies = 125 million grams

280,000,000 grams combined...
or 280,000kg
= 280 metric tonnes...

volume of 1 penny = 0.36cm

total volume of 36,000,000 cubic cm
or 36,000 cubic m

a dump truck holds about 17 cubic m

...you would require 2,118 dump trucks full... at 132,200kg (290,840lbs) per load.

only problem is, a typical tri axle dump truck's payload is approximately 25.5 metric tonnes. anything more than that and it's illegal. so lets stay legal.

you would need 5.2 (rounded) dump trucks for every 1 dump truck..

2,118 x 5.2 = 10,981

you would need 10,981 dump trucks hauling your pennies...

if i were you, i'd see how much it costs to rent that many tri-axle dump trucks.. I would find out for you, but it would just be plain silly for me to go overboard like that...

now back to your regularly scheduled porsche discussion....

Hourly rate to rent a tri-axle dump truck from google'd company = 85$/hour including fuel and operator (not bad I guess).

10,981 trucks x $85 an hour = $933,385 per hour. So take a trip from the midwest to seattle is about a 22 hour drive in a dump truck. Not to account for load/unload times and rest for drivers, thats $20,534,470. Plus the trucks have to drive back to where they came from so $41,068,940. Plus the original million dollars in pennies.

That's one expensive wrench.

Okay, who taught you math wise guy?
1cm^3 = 1/(100*100*100)m^3
Not 1cm^3 = 1/1000m^3
So, it really is about 36m^3

And for simplicity's sake, when you say that it would be illegal to load 132,000+kg into one dump truck, don't try to figure out a multiplication factor and round, simply divide the total weight by the capacity of a single dump truck.
Much clearer that way

Now I'm going to get some sleep, I have to get married tomorrow.
