I am haivng a problem with the fuse for my compressor/ ac fan blowing. I have unhooked both the compressor and the fan, but the fuse keeps blowing. any thoughts? Is there a relay that turns these on?

Which fan? Condensor fan? Dash fan? It been a few months since I tinkered with mine, but I'll do all I can to help. BTW, if you see a black 944 on MWF in Denton, good chance it's me. I'll be happy to come by and help you sort it out.

you have 2 relays under the passenger side kick panel, if you remove it you should see them. They are just below the glove box and to the right. However, IIRC they supply the condensor cooling fans when the a/c is on and supply power to the compressor. You also have a fuse or relay (can't remember) under the dash for the a/c and evap fan. I am available next wed after 4pm if you still need help. Here are some diagrams to help you along. http://www.pelicanparts.com/944/electrical/944_84_AC_1.jpg
