85 944 possible transmission trouble
Well after changing the spline from the torque tube and getting it all back together,I only have one little problem.When sitting still and shifting into first gear,I have to force it,not like the clutch is engaged,but like the shifter is not correct.The linkage has the little dimple that one of the screws fits into and it is in the proper position,I think.Is there any kind of adjustment to do?

The shift linkage on the transmission has bushings - they can cause erratic shifting if they are excessively worn.

fixed it!
It turned out to be the adjustment for the horizontal position on the transmission,I accidently loosened it while taking the tranny out.
