The difference a new FPR makes..

Pulled the '44 out of winter hibernation and was faced with a rich running car. No problem, just old gas. In goes new fuel and a couple of cans of SeaFoam.... No change.

Hmmmm......

Hook up fuel pressure guage and lo and behold, 3 bar at idle. 3.4 when you unplug the vac line. Not good.

Got the new FPR Friday and installed it yesterday morning. Took longer to pull the tools out of the tool box than it did to replace it. Now a nice 2 bar at idle. Had to completely reset the idle as well. Car runs better than it has in years. I think it has been going for a while, just did not notice it.

Got a happy girl again..
