turbo trans & axles
Just wanting to know if there is any specific year of turbo trans that I need to swap into an 85.5 n/a car. Also, which axles do I need? Thanks

The turbo transaxles have taller gearing in 1 thru 4 than the NA transaxles. This will make the acceleration worse if you change to a turbo transaxle. (Unless you have found the mythical NA power enhancement.) That being said, if you decide to change it, you can use your present axles (or matching ones.)

I never said the n/a stock engine would stay in front of it. I'm needing the turbo trans for a reason
