Headlight Issue version 2

My headlights are just the opposite - They come on normally but if the car is running and you turn them off they go down but keep going right back up again and down and up and down and up... This keeps up until you turn off the engine. Any bright ideas? Thanks

I spent hours taking apart the motor and cleaning the contacts on mine as outlined in clarks. Even did it twice because I thought maybe I missed something. Never thought to check the relay. Start with that and go from there. I ended up with a used relay from another motor that is working great.

good luck
