hwo to aim ecodes?

I know how to aim DOT headlights.. but what are the rules about aiming e-codes? I've found some things on the net, but a bunch of them differ and a lot aren't very clear with what they mean.

so can someone walk me through it please? I have a feeling my lamps are currently too high... i'm finding the horizontal cut-off runs right through people's back windows.. and i dont wanna be a prick..

Kyle,

If you want to eyeball it (sounds like yours are too high), park about 25 feet (3 carlengths or so) from a wall on a flat surface. You should have the transition from light to dark at about 2 feet off the ground. Aiming shouldn't really be all that different in terms of what you see.
