FS: 465 Piece Yellow Zinc Fastner Kit
Was planning on doing a restoration on an 83 944 but I had to move and had to get rid of the car in the process, so I'm selling the nice Zinc Coated bolt kit that I bought.

They look nice, but is there any metallurgical advantage? Will zinc react with aluminum?
If there are no materials problems that IS tempting, for the looks if nothing else. . .

Zinc coating is what Porsche put on the original bolts. IIRC it prevents corrosion of the bolt
edit: from boltscience.com ZINC ELECTROPLATING Zinc electroplating is a common way to protect threaded fasteners from the effects of corrosion. Zinc electroplating can be completed in acid chloride, alkaline or cyanide baths. Supplemental coatings are frequently applied to zinc electroplating. These coatings, such as zinc phosphate or chromate conversion, provide a protective passivation layer on the zinc which assists in reducing the corrosion rate.
