Door handle linkage issues....
Can this be fixed or replaced easily?
When it broke I just looked at it like " what a peice of crap!!! " This is for a fellow pelican member whom I sold it to, but when I went to box them up the little lever snapped off. http://inlinethumb05.webshots.com/64...500x500Q85.jpg |
Yep, for $35 or so, you can buy the repair piece that is held in with the roll pin.

This must be a common failure because I see this part for sale on eBay all the time. Looks like there is a left and a right so be sure to get the right one.
Here's a link to an eBay auction for this part: |
Cool, thanks alot.

Pelican also sells the part for the same price (actually cheaper since shipping is included). =)
Ordering driver and passenger side, my driver side broke and now I cannot get in from the outside on the driver side! =) 944-537-261-02-M100 944-537-261-02-M100 =) |
Any tips on getting to the part, 944mech? Don't have my Haynes manual yet on how to remove the door handle.

Awesome. Though my handle does not work from the exterior after a 'pop', so that's why I bought the replacement linkage, pretty sure it broke. Passenger side barely operates too, probably needs adjustment, or too, is about to break...
Not sure if I have power doors or not! Car is in the garage at my parents house, doing 'everything I can' on Saturday! |
