Door handle linkage issues....

Can this be fixed or replaced easily?

When it broke I just looked at it like " what a peice of crap!!! "
This is for a fellow pelican member whom I sold it to, but when I went to box them up the little lever snapped off.

Yep, for $35 or so, you can buy the repair piece that is held in with the roll pin.

This must be a common failure because I see this part for sale on eBay all the time. Looks like there is a left and a right so be sure to get the right one.

Here's a link to an eBay auction for this part:

Porsche Crest

Pelican also sells the part for the same price (actually cheaper since shipping is included). =)

Ordering driver and passenger side, my driver side broke and now I cannot get in from the outside on the driver side! =)

Any tips on getting to the part, 944mech? Don't have my Haynes manual yet on how to remove the door handle.

=)

Thumbs up

Awesome. Though my handle does not work from the exterior after a 'pop', so that's why I bought the replacement linkage, pretty sure it broke. Passenger side barely operates too, probably needs adjustment, or too, is about to break...

Not sure if I have power doors or not! Car is in the garage at my parents house, doing 'everything I can' on Saturday!
