Nice work!
I'm still planning on a paint job...Did you use single stage or base + clear?

Did you do all the work yourself, mainly the painting? It looks real nice, can you tell about how you did it please... Like Dtchy said, how did you do it, single, base and clear, I also assume you did some sort of primer, what did you use for that? Any information would be appreciated, im sure many (as well as me) are interested and want to know some details (in case we ever want to do it).

I had a friend of mine's friend who does body work do it. They sanded it down to almsot the bare metal all over, did all the body work, then grey primered it, then sanded more, then sealed it with some kind of black looking sealer. Wet sanded it again then painted it with a black base coat 3 times. Then the first clear coat was done with red pearl in it. Then it got 3 more coats of clear. It was supposed to be wet sanded yesterday and then buffed out to a deep gloss. I haven't seen this stage yet but can hardly wait. After its all done they ar going to spray flat black on all the trim pieces and door handles so that they look new again. i am really excied to drive it again. I will post the completed pictures as soon as it is done. When light hits it the car will give off a pearlesence red metalic color. I hope that I can catch that on soem of the pics. Oh also the guy put all new metal in my battery box so it is all new too. All of this for 1,500.00. lol Its great to have friends. He said it would have cost me over 3,000 for just the paint job alone.
