Replaced Dash, Dome/Trunk Light Not Working

Door chime works but the dome light will not work (in any position) nor will the trunk light. What may I have done? Is this related to the glove box light in any way? During the glove box removal (forgetting to disconnect the battery) we blew the glove box light inadvertantly.

Glove box light should not matter. Check your rear hatch struts wiring connection (for the defroster grid)... a bad ground on those cold cause the dome light to malfunction while a door is open, but in that case the dome light switch should still work when switched to the "always on" position. Check bulb, fuse and wiring.
