Question Transaxle output shaft seals...

...are supposed to be 60mm OD X 45mm ID X 8mm thick. My FLAPS gave me 60 X 45 X 10mm thick. Is this going to be a problem? They verified the part number to be correct for the application (according to whom, I wonder).

Not sure, I just got mine from napa and they work fine, I just miked up an extra one I have, I got abot 8mm thick, I dont think your 10mm thick ones will cause a problem, If anything it will just stick into the case more, But I dont think it will cause a problem.

...and while I'm in there...

Just trying to find any helpful threads (this and other BB's) about these seals is painful. The FSM says "drive in to stop", so it does bottom out, but it doesn't look like an extra 2mm out will be a problem. I guess I'll have to get the dial caliper out to make sure. I'm gonna have the axles out for CV rehab anyway.

I'll take lots of pictures. Everybody likes pictures. Heck, might as well make it a 924S how-to.
