I have questions

I have a 87 944, with 86 motor, can somebody fill me in on compression ratios in requards to boost. the turbo motor use like 8 to somthing to somthing or other.

it should be 9:7:1 in my 86, in a boosted application, is lower compresion better or higher to begin with. Since it is lower does this mean i would have to run more boost. Dont throw rocks at me for asking this, im reasearching my ass off, thanks josh

I think that it is safer to run higher boost with a lower compression ratio.
search the forum for threads with blown 944 in them, you'll find lots of info there.
