944 W/Sideskirts pics?

Been thinking about buying a set of side skirts for my 944 for quite a while now, I found a set pretty reasonable and they are the same color as my car so this has me pretty interested in doing this...Does anyone have pics of their car with side skirts, factory or aftermarket...I would like to see what they actually look like on a car to make up my mind whether I want to go through with this or not...Thanks in advance....Bob

My only concern with side skirts is if they make the sides of the car drop lower than the front or back. That "uneveness" always bothers me, and I ran into the same problem after installing 951 rocker extensions on my car. It wasn't until I made a front lip airdam that the car seemed all lined up again.

Just a thought.

If it helps, here's the front lip I made. I made it out of some garden edging, quality double-sided tape and a bunch of little "L" brackets for extra support. It has held up pretty well and doesn't look nearly as ricey as you'd think.

factory spoiler lip

I'm guessing those factory front lip skirts are unobtanium?

Anyone have a pic? I used to have pics of one, but can't find them.

Surprised none of the aftermarketers make one.

Were they a UK / Euro option only?

There was a Foha front lip that was available as a factory option (or, at least, was in the factory "cool stuff for your 944" catalog) but they are very hard to come by. They basically look like a Carrera front lip but only for your 944. They look incredible IMHO, but are very difficult to come by which is why I made my own.

Technoduck has a Foha.

from the other thread i'de say it wasn't a factory option, but Aftermarket via T-equipment, not made by Porsche, can't see a Porsche partnumber on it, or even the Porsche logo on the documentation that came with it

i know of no 944 option code that covers this Foha lip

to bad, cause it does look sweet, and i'de think more would have been in existance if it were a factory option

Could be, I never really dug too far into it. I recalled reading somewhere that it was in a Porsche catalog or something.
