Headlight help! what conversion should I do!
At the moment I have converted my regular sealed glass bulb to the Hella H4 glass with PIAA blue bulbs but I am not THAT satisfied.
I am just wondering what HID kits would you recommend? I would want something that is just plug and play. If not an HID kit where could I get a Hella H4 E fixture? and are the E's a lot better? sorry if this has been discussed before, any help would be substantial Thanks A Lot Stefan

944online.com has a real HID upgrade kit that works with the hella lenses. They also have e-code... I personally have DOT hellas with 80/100watt bulbs and they work well i think. I may also upgrade the wiring harness for more power (also on 944online). I have always been scared of the e-code, since in CT there are lots of windy, hilly back roads, and i would worry they dont project enough light upwards if you are on a hill, or enough to the sides (deer are all around me!). Depends on what kinda money you want to spend and what kinda use you want from them. I would say try a higher wattage bulb first (i dont know what your are), since the cars are so low, no one is ever bothered by my 80/100w xenons (bulbs from rennbay.com)

hella h4 e-codes new wire harness upgrade w 80/100 xenon hella bulbs. HUUUUGE!! difference. there isent a car on the road that has a brighter beam then with the upgrade i just did. and I just Went threw one of the foggiest days weve had in a while here without a problem. I had A Guy that passed me in the fog like he was trying to race me. and after about 20 seconds he slowed down and fell back behind me b/c his lights were no where as bright and as visible.. check out my last post

Whatever upgrade brande / code you are installing a new wiring harness will make them go from a dull yellow to brilliant white. Upgrading the stock fog lights to 100W available @ Autozone and using relays on them also makes a big difference.
I went w/ 55 / 100 Hella H4s and also added 2 more 100W driving lights in the mouth that are triggered w/ the high beams and switchable to be totally off when desired. They also are run through a relay harness that I made. ![]() ![]() My home made wiring harness works really well. Steve

Thanks a lot guys for the awesome input!!! I am just about to purchase the HID conversion kit from 944online.com. Once I get that in, and the front end conversion on my car done I will post up pics.
