One thing that I discovered when I bought a used hatch carpet last year is that the "wings" on the sides that cover up the wells behind the rear wheels are different between a power sunroof car and a non-sunroof (or a manual roof) car. The motor and relay panel on the driver side makes the "wing" on that side about an inch or two smaller.

Most of the carpet is different. I've tried this. You can use most of the carpet from an early car, but not all.
Hatch carpet is different, but can be used. Rear sides - Will be fine Back seat floor - Almost identical, you can use it. Front seats - You can use it, but it is the one piece that is very different from the rest. Would require cutting. Wouldn't recommend using this piece if you want things to look really good. Kick panels - Think these are identical
