Possible to replace Strut cartridge on stock struts???
I was wondering if it is possible to replace the cartridges on stock struts? I see them in the local parts store and was just wondering if that was possible, I can get the needed tools, just wanted to see if it could be done to the stock struts? Thanks Mike

Yes. 86NA & below have replaceable inserts. Your options from cheapest to most expensive is:

So I can get them from here or a local parts store, and install with no problms? I did not know if you could. Thanks for the info. Going to get a set of inserts, I just put another used set on, and they are shot. Thanks for the info, that is my next projext. Mike

THese are the Stock McPhearson struts, Correct? I don't think they are the Konis. Can they be replaced as well? Just wnat to make sure before I spend the cash. Mike

What you replace them with depends on your budget and what kind of ride you want. Prices range from $90 each to $190 each.
