Driver Seat Rails.

Hi,

Been looking for driver seat rails for an '84 944. Pelican marks them up as NLA. Are they verry hard to replace or should I be looking for some aftermarket stuff ?

What would I be looking at. The seat is not in the best position for me so it makes the driving sort of unpleasent as I have to drive sitting really straight all the time.

Thanks,

CBB

I see them for sale on ebay regularly.

Search EbayMotors for "Porsche 944 seat" and something will likely pop up.

you can replace them, or remove them and probably free them up with wd40.
usually they rust and lock up but can be freed up with movement and penetrating oil

4 bolt each I believe its 10mm , get a long extension

BTW- I may have some if you cant free them up

Not sure about all seats but the ones in my car recline with a lever in the front next to the console to make it where you don't have to drive straight up. I don't think new rails would change that...only make you slide forward and backward.
