Correct spacer size question
I just purchased a set of OEM/Factory C2 Turbo cup wheels. I have a 83 944. To those who know what size spacers will be the best fit for the fronts and rears.

Are they the late offset ones? If so you need 1" spacers on all 4 wheels.

The fronts are: ET 52 7 1/2 Jx 17 H2
The rears are: ET 47 9 Jx 17 H2 Are these considered late offsets?

Yes those are late offset. Yours OE wheels are 23.3mm offset on all four wheels.

Actually, no those aren't late offsets from the 944's.
you need 28 & 23mm spacers.

The wheels with that offset I'd mentioned came off a 92 911 Carrera

Get a hold of http://www.wheelenhancement.com/ They can get you the exact spacers you need.
it's pretty simple though. All you do is subtract the difference in the offsets. In your case you have 23.3 offset and want to put 52 & 47 offset wheels on. It really is just about the math.

Thank hpservertech. I have had so many wheel number bouncing around in my head that I got them wrong...
BjtheDj you can also use the calculator at 1010tires.com I find this very useful because of the number of dimension it assesses (inner clearance and outer position) http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp

Okay here it is. The Phone dials that came off my car are all 7x 15's with the 23.3 offset. The C2's are fronts 7 1/2 Jx 17 H2 offset ET 52 Rears: 9 Jx 17 H2 Et 47 Another guy said I should be okay with 1 in spacers for front and rear and there's a seller selling them on ebay for$79.00 a pair. Would anyone not recommend going 1 inch all around!
