The only time I truly get cold air thru the vents is in the winter time. During the warmer weather seasons, the air is cool only in the morning but as the day progress, it becomes warm. Honestly, the ventilating system in the early Porsches is fair. I understand that the later 85 1/2 's is much better.

Either the cable adjusting the hot water valve is not adjusted correctly or the hot water valve is leaking. Try loosening the cable first and see if you can close the valve further. If not, then replace the valve.

Besides what's mentioned above, there is a small hard-plastic vacuum line that connects to the brake bllster. If this is disconnected or broken, the heater will blow hot air constantly. I discovered this when I replaced my brake vacuum line (in the summer) and accidently broke that tee fitting on the brake booster check valve.

I agree with Tom, but also keep in mind that the squirrel cage draws air from under the hood.

			Hello all,

There will be constant air blowing through the cab as it is a design factor to keep all windows from fogging any time. Along with this there is a small plastic clip that attaches to the rods that control the flaps under the dash. If this small clip is broken/missing the control flaps will not fully close allowing hot air from the front vents.
