Clarks Garage

Anyone able to get to the site? It looks like the registration expired and all I get is a bunch of pop-ups.

Is it working for anyone else?

I've already sent an e-mail to Clark letting him know.

OMG I hope this valuable piece of info is able to stay online. This is one of the top 3 sources of info for the 944.

DNS had not fully propagated to point to the poacher's site for everyone. I was in the middle of copying the entire site when it updated for me.

The Wayback Machine has some of the garage shop manual
http://web.archive.org/web/20070818145411/http://www.clarks-garage.com/shop-manual/repair-procedure-index3.htm

If anyone has the old IP address for Clark's, I bet we could still get to the info.

The information will all still be stored on the ISP who hosted the site.

Running a WHOIS search on the site address shows the registration expired on 4/5/08.

Someone else has snapped up the address for advertising purposes, or whatever. The simplest solution would be to get a new domain name and setup the site there…kinda up to Clark to do that though.

Let us know what you find out. If it's a money issue, then let's start a thread and get some donations.

Please consider me as "in" to financially supporting the resurrection of the site. I am willing to even handle getting a new domain and handling the whole processs if Clark is willing to provide me with the content.

Paul Heery please PM if you get a response.
