If you have BTDT have you any tips or suggestions on rebuilding 924s style front calipers, I believe they are early model style?.
Thanks.. Dal

I rebuilt all the calipers on my early 944. It was overall an easy job. The only thing that would have been good to know at the start (as mentioned by the rebuild kit, if I read it well), is that it said to use compressed air to push the the hydraulic piston out. I used the good old pull with some pliers till it moves, not as easy. Also, make sure that you reassemble in the same way. Part of the piston that touches the brake pad, has a little extra metal "horse shoe". This must be aligned properly or it will cause chattering when breaking. Overall not a hard job though.
-Randy P.S.- Dont forget to get the brake caliper lubricant to use!

Thank you Randy! You hit the 2 points I was concerned about. I saw the design of the piston face and knew that it must be set properly, by common sense, so this answers that!
