Wiper wiring and intermit. relay '83 N/A
While messing with my tach wiring, I seemed to knock out the operation of my wipers. One thing I did while under dash was to seat the intermittent wiper relay deper into its socket due to the fact it was retracted a bit. The question:
Is the normal wiper operation contingent on the intermittent relay being 100% functional? Perhaps I disrupted the circuit board inside the relay and cracked one of the traces inside. Moving the the wiper stem to any position does not result in the wipers going any speed or in a delayed operation. Wiper motor is good, fuse #11 is good. Messed with wiggling relay and re-inserting....still no wipers. The fun never ends! Any thoughts?

Goto NAPA and get a new relay for like $10... It is the easiest first step. Hope that that fixes it, otherwise you will be in for some fun electrical troubleshooting!

You may have pushed the connections out the back of the relay socket as well.
