I have mislead....
I've paid no attention to the sticker on my car that says the charge for the A/C is supposed to be 40.6 oz. I see it now though. I can honestly say I've read in the FSM that it's 950 grams or 2.09 lbs. I might have made a serious mistake, and I appologize to all that I may have steered in the wrong direction. 40.6 oz= 2.5lbs, multiply that by .8 = 2.03. The 80% is for R12 to 134, for Freeze 12 use 90%.
The guages still won't fuch you, unlike me. What does your book/intellect say on the capacity?

![]() ![]() As you said, the guages used, and the tech will adjust for best performance. John_AZ This poster has no experience other than a can hooked to a neat guage. |
